How to Change Engine Oil on Ford Everest
Required Materials:
- Oil filter
- 9.5 quarts of 5W-30 motor oil
- Jack and jack stands
- 15 millimeter socket
- Oil drain pan
Performing the oil change:
- Park the Ford Everest on a leveled ground.
- Open the hood and remove the oil cap.
- Using the jack, lift the front end of your vehicle and place it on jack stands for safety.
- Get underneath the vehicle and locate the drain bolt.
- Place the drain pan in position.
- Remove the drain bolt and let the engine oil drain for about 10 minutes.
- Once the oil is completely drained, reinstall the oil drain bolt.
- Locate and remove the oil filter.
- Install the new oil filter. Make sure to lubricate the new oil filter before installing it.
- Remove the jack stands and lower the Ford Everest.
