How to Change Oil on Ford Maverick

Required Materials:

  1. Oil filter
  2. 5.7 quarts of 0W-20 motor oil
  3. Jack and jack stands
  4.  15-millimeter socket
  5. Oil drain pan

Performing the oil change:

  1. Park the Ford Maverick on a leveled ground.
  2. Lift the front end using a jack and place it on jack stands for safety.
  3. Open the hood and remove the oil cap.
  4. Locate the oil drain bolt and remove it using a 15-millimeter socket. The drain bolt is located underneath the vehicle in the front end.
  5. Place the oil drain pan.
  6. Remove the drain bolt completely and let the engine oil drain into the drain pan.
