How to Change Oil on Ford Bronco

Required Materials:

  1. Oil filter
  2. 6 quarts of 5W-30 motor oil
  3. Jack and jack stands
  4.  15 millimeter socket
  5. Oil drain pan

Performing the oil change:

  1. Park the Ford Bronco on a leveled ground.
  2. Open the hood and remove the oil cap.
  3. Lift the front end of your vehicle.
  4. Locate the oil drain bolt and remove it using a 15 millimeter socket.
  5. Before completely removing the drain bolt, make sure that the drain pan is in place.
  6. Remove the drain bolt completely and let the engine oil drain into the drain pan.
  7. Once the oil is completely drained, reinstall the oil drain bolt.
  8. Remove the old oil filter.
  9. Reinstall the new oil filter. Make sure to lubricate the new oil filter before installing it.
  10. Remove the jack stands and lower the Ford Bronco.
  11. Pour 6 quartz of 5W-30 motor oil into the engine and reinstall the oil cap once done.
  12. Start the engine and check the oil level.
